Despite all of the above, we’re still very excited by the prospect of a tablet or notebook that all live switch between Google’s new Chrome-enthused Android 5.0 Jelly Bean and Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system. To us it sounds like the future, or at least something Google, which isn’t yet a fully-fledged hardware manufacturer, should be looking to do.

The next version of Microsoft's Windows operating system will introduce changes that are designed to make automatic updates less disruptive by eliminating popup notifications and reducing the number of times machines must be restarted.
