We have four computers in the house running Vista; one Acer laptop, one HP desktop (that came with XP), and two Toshiba with Home Premium.
While the Acer and HP operate normally, the Toshibas are periodically crashing.
My U305 crashes every two months like clockwork, but using start-up repair I have been able to get things starting again without losing anything.
My wife's A series suddenly crashed this morning during boot, but the startup repair has not repaired anything after multiple attempts.
Why can't Toshiba and Vista get along?
