(U.K.)
After installing recent updates windows keeps asking for re-activation,this copy is already in use.
I am still using the same Motherboard,CPU,Memory,Hdd's,and graphic card as when I purchsed this full retail copy of Vista{32/64 2 disc}.
The only other change has been a Bios update with the intention of buying a new CPU to give the machine a new lease of life.
After a Virus problem meant I had to DBAN and reinstall the operating system, since which when I try to activate it states that I need to get a new key as this one is already in use.
My other PC also runs on a retail copy of Vista Ultimate, and has had a complete rebuild after a PSU failed and fried the Motherboard.
Activated was no problemat all, even upgrades,no problem. WHY is the other machine saying that the copy is already in use.
