I have a Qosmio AV-412. After installing the modem driver upgrade from Toshiba's website, I receive a security popup because the driver carries no electronic signature.
The pop-up comes everytime I reboot even though I uncheck the reminder box.
The driver comes from Agere Systems who have since merged with LSI. No support is provided. The same popups occured after loading Toshiba's Intel Video driver.
There are also some problems at times watching You Tube or other streamed media where the video starts and stops continuously.
Other than that, I have been very happy with both Vista Ultimate and my laptop. Boot up may seem a little slow, but slow is only relative, for I remember Win 98 on a Pentium 600 E Machine.
So, thanks Microsoft, I'll continue to use your operating systems.
