Windows Vista Update

I have an Acer aspire with a running vista home premium program at windows. I am using it for about year now when i observe the screen hangs up quiet often.

I used to turn the power off and then start with normal windows when prompted to.

i thought of unstalling games software downlaoded directly from internet thinking those games clogged the system and so i did. After few more days of hangs up and reboot action, the desk top totally stopped.

the screen turned black. I've turend off the power and let technician do his course. It work of about one day an then again it started to behave the same. this time it is worst that the screen graphics came cracked.

So my action is to power off and try to run again after few days of rest and it work for few minute, screen frezzes.

I hope this acer/vista/windows behaviour is not affected by a virus and could be resolved.

i want my desktop be back to normal!
