Windows Vista on my Sony VGN-SZ750N laptop is a disaster. There is no other way of describing it. Nothing works the way it ought to and it is impossible to accomplish even the simplest tasks that are easily accomplished in Windows XP.

I also have an older verson of this same laptop, the Sony VGN-SZ370P laptop, which works like a charm under Windows XP Professional. Thus, I am on this site looking for infomration about replacing Windows Vista with Windows XP Pro that will work well on the VGN-SZ750N.

Microsoft did the world a huge disservice in releasing Windows Vista. Why else would Dell Computer be offering a DOWNGRADE to Windows XP from Windows Vista?
