if you don't have it yet or didn't get stuck with it purchasing a new system stay away from it, the only thing that's improved with vista sp1 is less things will actually work on your computer after installing it, I guess Microsoft found vista non sp1 to be too useful so they made it almost impossible to run anything.

I have a web cam, website sodftware photo programs, and some online games that work without sp1 but cannot run with sp1

so take warning leave sp1 where it should have been put by the preschoolers that designed it in the trash not on your computer..

for the record i had severe issues opening this site on my vista os computer so using an older computer to post, it has win 98 on it..
