Microsoft extends Windows Store geographical reach
Microsoft is planning to extend the geographical reach of its Windows Store.
The service that’s available in Windows 8 will begin to accept application submissions from developers in 38 markets starting in the next preview release of Windows 8.
The affected countries will be Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Columbia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and United Kingdom.
We are expecting the Windows 8 Release Preview in late May or early June.
