Lenovo must be kidding right?
So take a look at the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga.
It’s being called the first Windows 8 Tablet.
Looks nice enough right?
Well, reports are that Lenovo are going to price this at 1200 Pounds.
The Yoga is an ultrabook laptop with a folding screen that bends over backwards to turn the thing into a tablet, like the Asus Eee PC T101MT. It’s powered by Windows 8, the next generation of Microsoft’s venerable operating system which will run both computers and tablets. The basic model costs £1,200, and a more powerful Core i7 model costs an even morekundalini-disturbing £1,500.
Can I ask who in their right minds would pay almost $2000 for a Lenovo Ultrabook?
I mean no matter how sleek and “sexy’ it’s meant to be, that’s just an unconscionable amount of money.
This to me is the first sign that greedy OEM’s may be planning to overplay their hands when it comes to Windows 8.
Note to OEM’s – higher value and lower prices is the way to go.
What do you think? Would you pay $1500 to $2000 for the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga?
