Inside Windows 8: PC Settings – Windows Update

Of course Windows 8 has the option for you to install critical Windows updates from Microsoft.

You can get to this from the Charms > Settings > More PC Settings > Windows Update

Similar to Windows 7, it allows you to check for updates and installs some in real time and some upon system restart.

It does look cleaner and less intrusive – one of the benefits of the Metro look and feel.
