So at the BUILD conference this September, Microsoft sponsored an optional dinner with a bunch of bloggers and some CEO's of companies that were excited about Windows 8 and the new Metro interface.
It was a pleasant enough event where we got to ask questions and hear some of the concerns and reactions of these executives.
At that dinner, I met Naveen Jain, the CEO of Sparkart inc - a web design firm located out in Oakland California.
Naveen made a lot of good points that evening about Windows 8 and the effect that the new Windows 8 tools will have on developers and Windows 8 development.
Side Note - Shout out to Paul Thurrott who kept the evening really lively.
Anyway, the conversation was really insightful and I decided to head back out to Oakland and do an interview with Naveen at his offices.
I recommend you watch this series if you want to understand a little bit more about how Microsoft's new development tools will affect real life businesses.
In Part 1 of this interview, Naveen and his VP of Engineering Daniel O'Shea discuss Sparkart, the BUILD conference, first impressions of Windows 8, the way Windows 8 tools affect their business and how the development times may be shortened by Windows 8.
